Rep. Sannie Overly and Sen. Reggie ThomasFeatured speakers include 72nd District Kentucky House Representative (and Chair of the Kentucky Democratic Party) Sannie Overly and 13th District Kentucky State Senator Reggie Thomas. Overly and Thomas will be filling us in on the 2017 Kentucky Legislative Session. Matt Daley, Special Assistant to Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, will be joining us to speak about voter registration and elections.

Discover Civic Engagement Opportunities

Representatives from resistance groups, progressive groups, and non-partisan/non-profit activist groups will introduce you to civic engagement opportunities. The resistance/progressive groups Indivisible Bluegrass, Indivisible Bourbon County, Kentucky National Organization for Women (NOW), Our Revolution, and Together We Will Bluegrass will explain their purpose and actions and invite you to join them. The well-established non-partisan/non-profit group Planned Parenthood Advocates of Indiana and Kentucky will provide information about their cause and how you can get involved.

Sign Up to Take Our Survey

We will provide information sheets where you can sign up to take our online survey. This survey will help us understand the change you want to see on local, state, and national levels. Surveys will be distributed via email. If you do not have email, check mark that you don’t on the information sheet, and we will mail you a survey.
